Marco earned his medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro in Brazil in 1990. Subsequently, he completed a master's program at the Surgery Department of Hospital Heliópolis in São Paulo in 1999. In 2012, he achieved a doctorate in Pathology at UFTM. He is currently holds the position of MD Chief of the Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Service and serves as a professor of Head and Neck Surgery at the School of Medicine at UFTM.
