Sahar Ghannam

Sahar Ghannam is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at Alexandria University, Egypt, and a Consultant Dermatologist and Cosmetic Dermatologist. She earned her medical degree from Alexandria University in 1983, followed by a Master's degree in Dermatology, Venereology, and Andrology in 1986, a PhD in 1994, and a Doctorate in Dermatology, Venereology, and Andrology in 1995. Since 2005, she has led her own dermatology and aesthetic practice, specializing in cosmetic dermatology, energy-based device treatments, and chemical peels, with internationally recognized expertise in treating ethnic skin. She serves as President of ISAM Egypt, Immediate Past President of the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS), and Past President of the International Peeling Society (IPS). An active member of several international dermatology societies, she also serves on the International Advisory Board of the 5CC Congress, organizes the Sharm Derm Meeting, reviews for leading dermatology journals, has authored the Chemical Peels chapter in a dermatologic surgery textbook, and is a frequent international speaker and educator in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
