The selected cases illustrate how subtle clinical findings, when carefully interpreted, can fundamentally alter diagnostic reasoning and therapeutic decision-making.

Each case will be discussed in detail with regard to clinical presentation, differential diagnosis, appropriate investigations, and management strategies. Emphasis will be placed on diagnostic pitfalls, therapeutic dilemmas, and situations where conventional approaches proved insufficient, requiring innovative or multidisciplinary solutions. Dr. Babak Soltani is an accomplished dermatologist and a graduate of the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS). He has extensive experience in both clinical and hospital settings, with over two decades of successful private practice. In his clinic, he performs consultations and develops comprehensive treatment plans for a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, psoriasis, and skin cancers, while also managing the clinic's administrative and financial operations.

Currently, he serves as the Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors for a cosmetic and healthcare products company, and as the Chief Innovation Officer at DermAi Tech. In these roles, he applies his medical expertise to lead strategic decision-making and innovation.
