Presentation Title:

Breast harmonization in modern aesthetic surgery: Integrating technology, patient anatomy, and aesthetic long-term excellence

Abstract

Background: Modern aesthetic breast surgery has evolved toward achieving harmonious, natural, and long-lasting results that integrate advanced implant technology with individualized patient anatomy. Contemporary approaches emphasize not only volume enhancement but also proportional balance, tissue dynamics, and long-term safety.

Objectives: This keynote presentation aims to present a comprehensive concept of “breast harmonization,” integrating surgical planning, implant selection, and advanced technologies such as nanotextured and ergonomic implants to optimize aesthetic and clinical outcomes.

Methods: The concept is based on extensive clinical experience supported by large prospective cohorts, including over 1000 cases of breast augmentation with nanotextured implants and comparative analyses of modern ergonomic implant systems. The approach incorporates detailed anthropometric assessment, individualized implant selection, refined surgical techniques (including dual-plane strategies and tissue support optimization), and objective outcome evaluation using tools such as BCCT.core and BREAST-Q.

Results: Clinical outcomes demonstrate high patient satisfaction (>90%), significant improvements in breast symmetry, projection, and upper pole fullness, and a favorable safety profile with low complication and revision rates. Advanced implant technologies contribute to improved tissue integration, natural feel, and long-term stability of results.

Conclusions: Breast harmonization represents a paradigm shift in aesthetic breast surgery, moving beyond traditional augmentation toward a holistic, patient-centered approach. By integrating technology, surgical precision, and individualized planning, surgeons can achieve superior aesthetic outcomes with sustained long-term excellence and safety.
