Anterior open bite correction in adults through MEAW technique
Abstract
It is a case report documents the successful treatment of a 25-year-old female patient with anterior open bite utilizing the Multiloop Edgewise Archwire (MEAW) technique, highlighting its efficacy in adult cosmetic dental correction cases. The significance of this paper lies in its contribution to the growing body of literature on adult orthodontics, particularly in addressing anterior open bite malocclusions. Despite being a challenging condition to treat in adults, our case report demonstrates the successful correction achieved through the MEAW technique. By presenting this case, we aim to underscore the effectiveness of MEAW as a viable treatment option for adult patients with anterior open bite, thereby offering valuable insights to orthodontists and clinicians seeking alternative approaches for similar cases.
