Title: The efficacy and safety of combined ther0061py in the treatment of Rosacea

Abstract

The variety of clinical symptoms explains the effectiveness of combined techniques in the treatment of Rosacea. The aim of the study was to compare the efficacy and safety of botulinum therapy and laser therapy in combination with topical treatment of rosacea with vascular and inflammatory components in erythematoteleangiectatic and papulopustular subtypes. 30 patients were randomized in 2 groups: group 1 (n=15) received botulinum therapy and topical azelaic acid and ivermectin therapy, group 2 (n=15) received pulsed dye laser procedures 595 nm,  botulinum and identical topical therapy. Combination therapies are effective against both vascular and inflammatory components and represent a promising approach to the treatment of patients with erythematoteleangiectatic and papulopustular subtypes of Rosacea.
