Track: Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Maxillofacial Trauma and Fracture Management – Experts will examine contemporary approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of facial injuries, including mandibular, midface, orbital, and cranial fractures. Discussions will focus on surgical stabilization, trauma reconstruction, complication prevention, and techniques that support functional and aesthetic recovery.

Orthognathic and Corrective Jaw Surgery – This segment reviews modern orthognathic procedures for correcting skeletal and dentofacial deformities. Presentations will address treatment planning, surgical techniques, occlusal rehabilitation, facial balance, and long-term outcomes that improve both function and facial aesthetics.

Oral Pathology and Surgical Treatment – Faculty will discuss the diagnosis and management of oral lesions, cysts, tumors, and other pathological conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region. Topics include surgical excision, histopathological evaluation, risk assessment, and evidence-based treatment strategies.

Dental Implantology and Bone Reconstruction – Experts will explore advancements in dental implant placement, alveolar ridge preservation, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and regenerative procedures. Discussions will highlight innovations that improve implant success, functional restoration, and patient satisfaction.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder Management – This session focuses on the evaluation and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, including pain syndromes, functional limitations, and structural abnormalities. Faculty will review both surgical and non-surgical management approaches aimed at restoring joint function and improving quality of life.

Cleft Lip and Palate Reconstruction and Head & Neck Surgery – Presentations will examine comprehensive reconstructive strategies for cleft lip and palate deformities, as well as complex head and neck defects resulting from trauma, congenital anomalies, or oncologic treatment. Experts will discuss multidisciplinary care, functional rehabilitation, and advances in reconstructive techniques.

Digital Planning and Surgical Innovations – The session concludes with an exploration of emerging technologies including three-dimensional imaging, virtual surgical planning, computer-guided procedures, patient-specific implants, and digital workflow integration. Faculty will evaluate how these innovations are improving surgical precision, treatment predictability, and overall outcomes in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
